BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

  • Your requested dates are not reserved until Airbnb completes reservation, collects funds and confirms.
  • All cancellations due to inclement weather, natural disaster, snow or road conditions beyond owners control are non-refundable.
  • Our cabin is furnished with linens on beds and towels in the bathrooms. Additional linens are located in bedroom closets and/or laundry room. Please only use what you need and leave the rest.
  • The maximum number of guests is limited to 4 adults and 4 children under the age of 18. We understand that for a whole variety of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact us to let us know. We’re reasonable folk and will accommodate wherever possible for an additional charge.
  • Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is by 11am. Thinking about arriving slightly early or wanting that extra hour to sleep? That should be fine, but please check with us first, we may have other guests checking in that we need to consider.

DURING YOUR STAY

  • We love our new home and want to keep it in this condition for ourselves and our guests. This house was just built and has custom hardwood floors and very plush carpet. Please kick your shoes off while in the house.
  • If you are a skier, please do not bring skis, poles or wet ski equipment inside the home. Ski boots can be brought in after dry and set on the tile in the hall bathroom.
  • Keep all remotes in the room they belong in, if damaged or lost you will be responsible for replacing.
  • In our attempt to keep our new carpet looking great for you and future guests, we ask that food and drinks be limited to the kitchen and great room areas.
  • We understand that accidents happen and we ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
  • The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanity napkins in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the bathrooms. A good rule of thumb is: If you haven’t, wouldn’t or couldn’t eat it – don’t flush it down the toilet or put it down the garbage disposal/drains.
  • No smoking in the house.
  • To ensure full safety of our guest’s belongings, we like to keep the front door locked as a precautionary measure. We want to ensure every guest stay remains problem free, and this is just one small & simple thing we’re able to do to ensure that.
  • Guests are welcome to use the gas barbecue on the deck. Please do not move the grill next to the house or leave the barbecue unattended at any time. Guests are responsible for all damage (including stains and damage to the patio deck) as a result of their use of the outdoor gas barbecue.

PRIOR TO LEAVING

  • While we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that you take care of a few things prior to leaving. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
  • Clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used (or start a load in the dishwasher)
  • Clean out refrigerator and cupboard(s) of opened food.
  • Strip off all used bed linens and take to laundry room.
  • Start a load used bed linens and towels.
  • There will be a charge for "excessive cleaning" (if needed).
  • Please make sure the gas stove is turned off and the thermostat in the entry way has been turned down to 55.
  • Our cleaning staff does an inventory of all items in the cabin. To help them find things (and not report them missing) please return all furniture, remote controls, and any other objects to their original positions.
  • Please take all trash with you. We have large garbage bags available. If you don’t want to drive home with your trash, the Avery Transfer Station (Open Fridays-Tuesdays 9am-5:30pm) and is located at 4541 Segale Rd. on your way back down the mountain.
